RACE DATE: Sunday, April 19, 2015 @ 1:00 pm.
RACE LOCATION: Westside Park & Pool, 1001 NW 34th St, Gainesville, Florida 32605.
The Youth Combine Kids Triathlon will start with a swim at Westside Pool, which is being opened exclusively for our event. Once participants complete the swim they will head to the transition area conveniently shaded by pine trees. The bike course will take participants through cozy and safe neighborhood streets, offering plenty of shade and views of beautiful homes. Participants will then race up the small hill to Westwood Middle School before turning around to head back for either their transition to run or a second lap on the bike, depending on age. The best part about our race is the run portion which takes place almost entirely along the comfortable and shaded trails of Westside Park. Older kids will loop back through the run course for a second lap before racing to the finish.
The Youth Combine Kids Triathlon is the most affordable kids triathlon in Gainesville and offers a beautiful, shaded, and safe race environment to be enjoyed by your entire family.

We convert the shallow end of Westside Pool in to short course yards to keep all swimmers safe. Because of the shallow end’s trapazoid shape, each lap becomes slightly longer. All lengths are approximate. After swimming, runners exit out of the large northwest pool utility gate and head north on the paved trail to enter transition.
